Season Three Vineyard
John and Marion Vance’s adventure in wine is perfectly reflected in the name Season Three. After 28 years of marriage and a few careers each, the death of two childhood best friends led them to reevaluate their priorities. John’s family has owned the YX Ranch since 1879—part of the original 600 acres is a beautiful river bottom property. Their love for this land began a new season, far away from the big city, to begin growing grapes and opening a winery. Through this journey of discovery, they found a beautiful way to savor time between three generations. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there tasting 6 wines and sampling charcuterie boards. This is one of Texas’ very best in our opinion!
