The Wine Society of Texas DFW chapter invites you to a Canadian wine tasting on Saturday, May 13th at 4:00 pm at Palios Pizza Cafe in Grapevine.
Most Americans think of "ice wine" when they think of Canadian wine. In reality, there are a wide variety of red and wine wines available in Canada which are never exported to the U.S. Many of them are fabulous and some use indigenous grapes which are more suited to cold climates. At the tasting we will be featuring wines from:
Quails Gate
Tantalus
Sandhill
Reviere Du Chene
Osoyoos Larose
As usual, we will have a little wine education on Canadian wine and a lot of good conversation and friendship.
Cost
The cost of the tasting will be the cost of the food you want to order.
Reservation and Payment
There are no reservations at the pizza cafe, so come early. Let us know if you are coming by emailing us at dfw@winesocietyoftexas.org so that we can get enough tables. If the weather is good, we will be enjoying the patio. We love guests at all levels of wine knowledge. See you there!
