On August 9th, we invite you to experience the magic of Frio Canyon Vineyards at the Woodland Park Clubhouse. The Leach family property, where the vineyard was established in 2008, now boasts nearly 18 acres of picturesque vines. The anticipation builds as we await the completion of a breathtaking 10,000 square foot cave, ingeniously carved into the hillside, offering stunning vistas of the historic vineyard.
Our honored guest, Brian Graham, an old friend and accomplished winemaker, will lead us on a captivating wine journey. With a legacy that includes his esteemed Outcast and Locanda Estate Wines from Napa, Brian has added Frio Canyon to his winemaking repertoire. A true Texan at heart, Brian brings passion and expertise to every bottle he crafts.
Prepare your palate for an unforgettable tasting featuring the 2022 Estate Rosé, a graceful dance of flavors; the 2020 FCV Cuv'ee, a delightful expression of the vineyard's essence; the 2020 Estate Reserve Syrah, an opulent symphony of bold notes; and the 2020 Estate Reserve Tempranillo, an enchanting ode to Texas terroir.
Join us at 7:00 pm for this enchanting soirée at the Woodland Park Clubhouse, located at 1000 Woodland Park Ave., Midland, Texas. The event is open to both Wine Society of Texas members and guests. The cost is $45 for members and $55 for guests, payable at the door by cash or check.
