The Houston Chapter of The Wine Society of Texas, by popular demand, has organized BYOB Italiano FoodFest Extravaganza III. It will be held Thursday evening, May 31, 2007. We will meet at Patrenella's Ristorante Italiano and have a gastronomic, family-style dinner. The menu will include:

Two Appetizers – Calamari / Homemade Italian Sausage

House Italian – Style Salad

Two Family Style Entrees – Grilled Shrimp over Vegetables / Chicken Marsala

Two Pasta Dishes – Penne Pomodoro / Penne 4 Cheeses

Dessert – Cream Puffs

Bring ONE (750 ml)  bottle of your favorite wine to have with dinner and to share with your fellow WST members and wine aficionados - the corkage fee for one bottle only is included  in the event price. We will also have a voluntary contest. Those interested will discuss their wine selection (e.g. the wine producing region, its history, your experiences there, your favorite wine and food pairings, or favorite thing to do with wine) and compete for prizes for the best presentations. We will also have a drawing for door prizes. (One bottle per attendee or one bottle per couple. The WST will be paying a corkage fee for each bottle )
